Taoticket stands as Italy's premier online travel agency, specializing in cruise sales since its inception in 2008, headquartered in the vibrant city of Genoa. Operating domestically under the name Ticketcrociere, our company embraces a mission to solidify our leadership within Italy while ambitiously expanding across the globe.
Armed with cutting-edge tools, apps, and a website which is available in seven languages—Italian, Russian, English, Spanish, French, German, and Chinese—we aim to provide unparalleled service to our diverse clientele. Unlike air tickets or hotel bookings, cruises entail a multitude of services and intricacies, requiring delicate guidance and high competence from our dedicated managers.
At Taoticket, our strengths lie in our agility, passion for innovation, transparency, and commitment to delivering high-quality visuals. We pride ourselves on our ability to swiftly adapt to new technologies and offer innovative solutions, all while maintaining a dynamic and transparent approach.

Led by CEO Nicola Lorusso, Executive Director Matteo Lorusso, and Administrative and After-Sales Service Manager Marina Delfino, our team of around 30 employees, along with our commercial division, including three call centers, is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support.
Since 2009, our turnover has seen consistent double-digit growth, reaching €16 million in 2018, with nearly 20,000 passengers booking cruises through Taoticket. With over 350,000 subscribers to our newsletter and a prominent presence on La Stampa's website, we are committed to keeping our audience informed and engaged.
Catering to a wide range of travelers, from luxury seekers to those in search of last-minute deals. Our best-selling products include the esteemed World Cruise and Yacht Club, earning us accolades as the best online agency for the Italian market since 2009.
In collaboration with leading national and international cruise companies, Ticketcrociere has established commercial and advertising partnerships, offering exclusive prices, products, and services. Additionally, we're in the process of developing the Taoticket Observatory to provide valuable insights and trends within the cruise industry.

Our Story

It all started with Village Company, initially focused on information consulting in Genoa. In 2004, the partners ventured into their own tourism project, initially showcasing hotels and tourist packages on semplice.it. Commercial operations were outsourced until 2007 when the company established itself as Semplice Viaggi srl.
In 2008, the concept of delving into online cruise sales materialized under the Ticketcrociere brand, formerly semplice.it. Despite initial Italian skepticism towards online transactions, the venture thrived, prompting expansion beyond Italy.
Pioneering in technology, the company foresaw the potential of mobile applications with the advent of the iPhone. In 2011, Taoticket launched the Taoticket app, marking Italy's first mobile cruise booking platform! It was a breakthrough for Italy. This focus on apps drove expansion into around 20 foreign markets, with multi-currency support.
In 2019, Taoticket integrated with Amazon's Alexa and entered the Chinese and Russian markets. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, the company persisted in technological advancement.
Post-pandemic, Taoticket partnered with leading Italian cruise experts and introduced zero-interest installment plans. In 2022, it innovatively opened an outdoor store in Sanremo and amplified its social media presence.
By 2023, Taoticket boasted peak reviews on Google and Trustpilot, along with WhatsApp and Telegram channels. In early 2024, it globally debuted its AI-driven cruise service, enhancing user experience through personalized journeys via GPT chat.
